01Art fair booths

The booth comes down Sunday. The photos don’t.

Installation views before the doors open, per-work documentation right at the booth, and turnaround built for a fair that’s still running. For galleries and artists exhibiting during New York’s fair weeks.

The same documentation we do for galleries, brought to the fair.

A booth goes up in a day, opens the next morning, and comes down before anyone has caught up on sleep. Somewhere in that window it needs photographing, empty and clean before the doors open, and alive once the aisles fill. We come to the fair and cover both.

You receive corner wides, wall views, and works in situ for press and socials, plus individual-work documentation shot on-site for anything that needs its own files. It’s the same art documentation we do year-round, on a fair schedule.

What booth coverage is for

  • Installation views for press, previews, and socials.
  • A record of the presentation for artists and consigners.
  • Per-work files when a piece sells on the floor.
  • The booth in use during open hours.
  • An archive of the presentation before de-install.

When works sell on the floor

A sold piece needs images fast, for the invoice, the consigner, and the buyer who wants to see it again tonight. We document individual works right at the booth, at our regular per-piece rates, so the files exist before the work leaves the fair.

02What it costs

The event rate by the hour, our regular tiers per piece.

Booth and installation coverage runs at our event rate, $350/hr with a 2-hour minimum, editing included. Where individual works need their own documentation, the same per-piece tiers as all our documentation work apply, $50, $85, or $150 per piece depending on how many views each work needs.

Booth & installation views

  • $350/hr, 2-hour minimum. Editing and color correction included.
  • Corner wides, wall views, works in situ, and details.
  • Shot at install evening or before doors, your call.

Per-piece documentation

  • Essential, $50 — one color-accurate hero shot, print-ready.
  • Standard, $85 — hero plus two hi-res detail shots.
  • Gallery, $150 — hero, details, and a short video clip.

Step 01

Book the window

A short call about the fair, the booth, and what the files are for. We usually shoot install evening or the morning before doors, whichever the fair allows. You get one clear number before anything is booked.

Step 02

Before doors

The empty booth, lit and level. Corner wides, every wall, works in situ, details. If the plan includes open hours, we come back for the booth with people in it.

Step 03

Delivery

Organized, named files, delivered digitally. Standard turnaround is ten business days, rush brings it under three, and a fair-week timeline is agreed up front so the images work while the booth still exists.

Tell us about the booth.

The fair, your dates, the booth size, and what needs documenting. We’ll reply like humans with one clear number and a plan that fits the fair’s schedule.
