01Art reproduction

Your paintings, ready for print.

We photograph paintings in NYC for giclée prints and print-on-demand. Color-checked capture, even light, and high-resolution files prepared around the size you want to print.

Looking for scanning paintings for prints?

We use camera-based capture to digitize your paintings for print reproduction. We check color against a known reference and light the surface evenly, with glare control suited to the paint, varnish, or glass. The aim is a clean reproduction that keeps the character of the original.

For large giclée prints, we plan the capture around your intended output dimensions. Send the painting size and the largest print you have in mind, along with your printer’s requirements. We’ll confirm the capture scope before you book. We work on location in New York.

Made for your print plans

  • Giclée editions of original paintings.
  • Print-on-demand artwork files.
  • Large-format fine art reproductions.

01

Color checked against a reference

We calibrate against a known reference before the shoot and correct the files for faithful color. Your printer’s paper and profile still shape the final print.

02

Even light, controlled reflections

We set the lighting for an even, glare-free view of the painting. For glazed or framed work, we assess the surface and whether polarized lighting is needed.

03

Detail at the intended print size

We agree the largest intended reproduction size before capture, so file dimensions suit the print job. There’s no single maximum size that fits every painting.

Step 01

Consultation

Send a reference photo, the painting dimensions, your location, and the print sizes or print-on-demand requirements.

Step 02

Capture

We photograph the painting straight-on with even lighting, color-reference checks, and glare control.

Step 03

Editing

We correct color and alignment, then prepare the crop and exports for the agreed printer specifications.

Step 04

Delivery

You receive organized digital files for the agreed output. A proof from your chosen printer lets you check the result on paper.
