Who we are

Vlad
Levine.

Photographer and videographer, one half of The Lightroom Studio.

I work across photography, video, and art documentation, the kind of work where a color shift can quietly ruin the point. Jasmine, my partner in the studio, handles styling and creative direction, shaping what's in frame while I handle the camera and the color.

Back in early 2020, Jasmine and I were living in Las Vegas, dreaming about building a space where artists and creatives could bring their visions to life. We had a deep love for photography, fashion, and aesthetics, and no clear idea yet how to turn that into something real. We went through several relocations and eventually came to own an award-winning physical studio space that became home to a lot of photographers and creatives, including us. That's where the studio's name was born. Our business has since moved away from maintaining a physical location, and we brought the work to New York City, the heart of the art and fashion world.

What I document and shoot

Archive-grade art documentation: color-accurate hero shots, detail shots, and video clips for artists, galleries, and collectors. Event photo and video for gallery openings, talks, and exhibitions. Branding films and portraits for artists and creative brands. And social media content, including standalone reels, for galleries and artists who need a steady stream of it.

How the studio works

We come to you, your space, your light, your work in its actual environment, no studio required. We tell you what it costs, with transparent pricing across every service and no mystery quotes: the numbers live on the service pages, not behind a form. We make files that work, built for wherever they're headed: web, print, press, archive, or social, nothing that just sits on a hard drive. And we stay out of the way, with clear planning and calm direction, so the work stays at the center and not the production around it.

Gear

I shoot on Sony a7 series mirrorless bodies.

Every artist has a unique story to tell, and I'd rather find the version of that story a piece is actually asking for than force one template across every shoot.
